Our story

What started as a way to relieve stress quickly became something much greater. Baking brought me peace, joy, and a creative outlet that I never expected. Before long, I found myself falling in love with the entire process from mixing each ingredient with love to seeing the smiles on people's faces after their very first bite.

Sharing my baked treats with family, friends, and customers became one of my greatest joys. Their excitement, encouragement, and honest feedback inspired me to turn my passion into something I could share with even more people.

That's how Drop of Love was born.

As a proud Jamaican, I wanted my baking to reflect a piece of my heritage. Growing up, whenever my grandmother was in the kitchen, she would always say, "It just need a little spirit." It wasn't just about adding alcohol it was about adding warmth, richness, and that special touch that made every drink or dessert unforgettable. That saying has stayed with me and continues to inspire many of the cakes I bake today.

Many of our signature cakes are infused with alcohol to enhance their flavor and celebrate that cherished family tradition. If you prefer your desserts without alcohol, don't worry we also offer delicious virgin cake options. Every cake, whether spirited or alcohol-free, is handcrafted with premium ingredients and packed with the same rich flavor, love, and care.
